2. What Data We Collect

• the email address provided in the order;
• the CV and any additional files you upload, including the personal data they contain: name, date of birth, nationality, contact details, and information on qualifications, documents, and experience;
• the message subject and text, the list of excluded companies, the selected package, and the sending time;
• payment data: amount, currency, method, and payment status. Card or wallet details are processed by the payment provider; we do not receive them;
• technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, cookies, and referral parameters needed for the website to function and to protect against abuse;
• mailing statistics: delivery events, email opens, and clicks on the CV link, linked to the recipient companies.

Data is not used for automated decision-making with legal effect and is not sold to third parties.

4. The Consent You Give When Ordering

By placing an order, I accept the cv-send Terms of Use and consent to the processing of my personal data, including sending my CV to the selected crewing companies.

This consent covers sending your CV to the companies in the selected package, including outside Ukraine and the European Economic Area, since recipients are located in different countries around the world. By submitting your CV, you confirm that you are entitled to share the data it contains and that any third-party data in the CV is included with that person's consent.

Consent may be withdrawn by writing to the Contractor's email. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it and does not recall emails already sent to companies.

5. Who Receives the Data

• crewing companies and shipowners in the selected package — your CV, message text, and email address for replies;
• infrastructure providers processing data on our behalf: website hosting and protection (Cloudflare), transactional email delivery (Amazon Web Services), file storage (Cloudflare R2), and payment acceptance (monobank, Heleket);
• government authorities — only upon a lawful request.

Infrastructure providers may be located outside Ukraine; such transfers are carried out on the basis of contractual data-protection safeguards.

6. How Long We Keep Data

• CV, files, and message text — for the duration of the order and 12 months after the mailing is completed, so it can be repeated at your request and the report can be prepared;
• the PDF report and mailing statistics — 12 months;
• payment data — for the period established by law for accounting records;
• technical logs — up to 90 days.

At your request, data is deleted earlier where its retention is not required by law.

7. Your Rights

• to obtain information on what data about you is being processed;
• to correct inaccurate data, or replace the CV or message text before the mailing begins;
• to request deletion of data and files;
• to withdraw consent;
• to lodge a complaint against the Contractor's actions with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or with the supervisory authority of your own country.

Requests are accepted at account@cv-send.com and are handled within 30 days. To verify your identity, we may ask you to write from the email address used in the order.

8. Cookies and Local Storage

The website uses essential cookies to protect forms against request forgery and browser local storage to save an unfinished order. Advertising and third-party analytics cookies are not used. Disabling cookies in your browser may prevent you from placing an order.

9. Security

The connection to the website is secured with TLS, files are stored in encrypted storage with restricted access, and staff access to data is limited to support and order-fulfillment tasks. Emails to companies are sent from the Contractor's technical mailboxes, while replies are directed to your address.

10. Changes to This Policy

The current version is always available on this page together with the update date. We notify you of material changes at the email address used in your most recent order.
